    Sweta Kumari

    Sweta Kumari

    Seattle, US

I am a Software Developer by profession and a Poet by heart.

While growing up in suburbs of a small town in India , I was super astonished by technology. So, I decided to learn more about it and enrolled myself in computer science. Knowing any skill makes you feel empowered, and learning computer science did the same to me. So, when I got a chance to help others out, I jumped to take the opportunity of mentoring women of different backgrounds with 1 Million Women To Tech initiative. This is something that I am proud of.

I believe writing code is like writing poetry, it should rhyme with the use case and should have emotions to express.

When I am not doing all these, I can be found at a beach watching sunsets, hiking or looking for adventure
